Neo-Glasgow (Part of Glasgow Film Festival)
The start of the year is always so boring so thank the gods that Glasgow Film Festival brings colour and imagination to Glasgow in the dreary winter months!
Part of the GFF that people always look forward to are the Special events. One memorable year I had the fantastic experience of watching Con Air in a warehouse in deepest, darkest Linwood, while dressed in a prison jumpsuit!
They have announced one of the special events this year called Neo-Glasgow. The blurb says.....
Argyle Street Arches will be transformed into a futuristic venue and play host to a weekend of special immersive film screenings of sci-fi cult classics from Total Recall to Tank Girl
COUNT. ME. IN.
Delving a bit deeper, they will be screening some sci-fi cult classics alongside some interactive events in the Argyle Street Arches.
Fri 28th Feb - Total Recall (1990)
Sat 29th Feb - Tank Girl (1995)
Sun 1st March - Wall-E (2008) and then Train to Busan (2016)
